JAPANESE SOARI WEAVING WITH PRUE SIMMONS
Prue is from Dyeing to Weave and is a specialist in this burgeoning craft form that encourages you to create freestyle and as Prue suggests to ‘colour outside of the lines’.
SAT & SUN 11:45am and 2:30pm: DYEING TO WEAVE SAORI STUDIO
Come and hear about the rich and unique history and creative philosophies of SAORI weaving - a meditative, freestyle form of Japanese weaving, as well as demonstration of the ease with which you can create beautiful cloth at this specially-designed Japanese loom.

ABC TV’s Gardening Australia presenter and ‘Good Life Growing’ author, Hannah Moloney will join us as part of the Masterclass and Demonstration programs presented with the support of Community Bank Deloraine & Districts.

🍃 Sat & Sun 10:30-11:30am: THE CRAFT OF PERMACULTURE
Learn how Hannah has applied the craft of permaculture to her home, garden and community to create and share a good life for herself and others. Permaculture is all about living harmoniously with nature. You’ll get insights into how to save money, tips on growing your own food, steep slope gardening and great ways to minimise impact on the planet.

A workshop for all the family to learn how to craft some Sunflower seed balls to take home to plant and create some garden pots from Newspapers! Thanks to Seedfreaks for supplying the seeds.
