OUR ICONIC EVENT SHIFTS TO A 3-DAY MODEL

The Tasmanian Craft Fair continues to evolve as it cements its national position as the largest working exhibition of arts and crafts in Australia.

Volunteer run by the Rotary Club of Deloraine for over 40 years, the committee recognises that within a changing world, the needs of our exhibitors and attendees are evolving too. For this reason, the Tasmanian Craft Fair will be making a raft of changes to the event over the next 5 years as they implement a strategic plan designed to ensure it thrives for decades to come.

As such the 2024 event will move to a 3-day model being held on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. The Monday has caused challenges for our exhibitors over recent years who are not in a public holiday area, and the day has never seen the same level of attractions or attendance despite some recent testing of initiatives.

With the introduction of the Masterclass program, more interactivity and features across the fair it makes sense that we deliver a higher-impact event over 3 days.

We all recognise that the world has changed and our event has to evolve with it. We have a wonderful event that is loved by artisans all over the country and we're committed to the work we need to do to ensure this event remains iconic and a true asset to Tasmania.
