Reth!nk Studio
ReTh!nk ReWraps have been designed to be reused over and over again. Each ReWrap has been carefully designed by Kirsty Máté, a sustainable designer and artist, to suit the furoshiki method of wrapping and to engage the giver and the receiver of the gift in the experience of wrapping and unwrapping.
Heirloom Wrap, a finalist in 2019 Tasmanian Design Awards, is hand silkscreen printed onto organic cotton. The pattern provides the opportunity to mark the wrap through drawing, writing, stitching... in the blank or ‘open’ leaves of the design , recording and celebrating each gift giving occasion between family, friends or couples.
ReDo Wrap has been made from reclaimed textiles sourced from industrial waste, odd-bins, off-cuts and secondhand fabrics. This makes each wrap one of a kind and a unique identity code means you can find out more about the Wrap and follow its journey.
ReTh!nk occasion cards are hand drawn images by Kirsty telling quirky stories with subtle sustainable messages and like the wraps have been designed for reuse. They are printed on recycled card using plant-based inks by local Tasmanian printers.
