Every year, the Tasmanian Craft Fair is supported by very generous sponsors. These sponsorships allow us to create a world-class display of arts and crafts for Tasmanians and visitors to enjoy. With the assistance of sponsorships, we are able to channel tens of thousands of dollars raised through the Fair to the local community, around the State and Australia and also overseas.

If you would like to sponsor the Craft Fair in 2019, please contact John Dare on 0410 557 598.

We would like to thank our sponsors for TCF 2018:

Deloraine & Districts Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank

The Community Bank initiative continues to resonate with customers and their communities as it provides communities with more than just quality banking services – they deliver employment opportunities for local people, keep local capital in the community, are a local investment option for shareholders and provide a source of revenue for important community projects determined by the local community.

A Community Bank branch is a locally owned and operated company, which functions as a franchise of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. The Bank provides the coverage of its banking licence, a full range of banking products, training of staff and ongoing support.

With the Deloraine branch making regular operating surpluses, after the payment of its running costs, and the Bendigo Bank's taking a share of the revenue, the remaining funds are available to be reinvested back into the Deloraine community through dividends to shareholders and grants to community groups and projects.

Meander Valley Council

Meander Valley is a large and diverse area of Tasmania's northern region, which offers an assortment of enticing lifestyle opportunities. The varying landscape ranges from alpine mountain peaks to extensively forested areas, productive agricultural lands, historic towns and villages, and even an urban community of Launceston.

The Meander Valley skyline is dominated by the mountains of the Great Western Tiers and World Heritage Area, which form a dramatic backdrop to a rural landscape that in many areas is divided by traditional English hedges. Small townships and villages are found throughout the area. The seamless combination of mountains and rural landscapes, villages and townships gives Meander Valley it's unique look and feel; something that visitors recognise as distinctly Tasmanian.

Rotary Club of Deloraine

We are an active voluntary service club, working to improve our community.

Rotary is a non-profit service organisation, so the proceeds from the Craft Fair are re-invested into our community. Over the years, we have helped to develop the Meander River banks to the beautiful attraction it is now, made significant donations to our local hospital and aged care facilities, and contributed to many other projects and causes.

The Rotary Club helped start Giant Steps, a school for children on the autism spectrum in Deloraine. Each year, we run the Model United Nations Assembly for senior secondary students across the State, and a Learn-to-Swim campaign for local primary school children. We also provide annual scholarships for both tertiary and trade students in our area.

If you would like to know more about Rotary in Deloraine, come along to a weekly dinner meeting as our guest. Perhaps you are interested in helping us at the Tasmanian Craft Fair - we can always use more volunteers!
